Deathwatch: Rodricus Grytt

Rodricus hails from the Imperial Fists Chapter, and at time of joining was serving as a Devastator. He had, surprisingly, refused the position of Captain of the 9th Company to serve in the Deathwatch, preferring a more active role in purging the alien. He has a love of heavy weaponry, with his favorite being a Frag Cannon.

In M41 Rodricus Grytt took part in the purging of a Genestealer Cult on Ghosar Quintus as part of Kill Team Cassius.

When the opportunity came to return to his Chapter, he again refused and opted to cross the rubicon primaris instead, remaining part of Kill Team Cassius. He has traded in his MK8 power armour in favour of Heavy Intercessor armour... still carrying his beloved Frag Cannon and supported by his servo skull.



Note: This is my attempt to create primaris versions of the original Kill Team Cassius team from the Deathwatch board game

Like a lot of his chapter brothers, Aelius has dedicated his life hunting xenos whenever and wherever he could. He was a member of the Imperius Reavers contingent that took part in the 3rd Tyrannic Wars fighting along side Cassius and the Ultramarine veterans. When Cassius joined the Deathwatch , Aelius came with him, but due to other missions was unable to be part of Cassius' core team. Since passing the rubicon, Aelius has spent a lot of time training and serving with the various Vanguard units, improving their expertise in fighting Tyrannids and Genestealer cults. It is this knowledge and expertise that keeps him near Chaplain Cassius

Launching the crusade

 It's been a long long time since I posted to Blogger, so rather than restart the old blog, I'm going to start a much more refined vision to keep me on track... Working on a forum isn't really working for me with the lack of cross-linking of articles and content... so we'll give it a try here and see if I can keep things going more effectively here.  We will be focussing on the adventures of Inquisitor Travor and the groups he has built up around him in their defence of the Malfian expanse after the sundering of the universe after the fall of Cadia.
